A Buyer is one who has work that needs to be done. Depending on the type of service, a Buyer can be referred to by different titles.
For example, a Buyer is similar to a Client when the Buyer is looking for legal services from an Attorney. As another example, a Buyer is similar to an Employer when the Buyer has work that needs to be completed by a Professional.
The Buyer provides the requirements and the description of the project. The Buyer reviews the Freelancers' qualification and select a Freelancer that the Buyer is most comfortable with.

A Freelancer is one who possesses the skill necessary to perform and complete the Buyer's project.
For example, the Freelancer can be a software engineer designing code based on the requirements provided by the Buyer. As another example, the Freelancer can be an attorney providing legal advice to a Buyer who needs legal help. The Freelancers provide information about their qualification and experience. The Freelancer can provide the Buyer a quote. The quote can be private or public.
When a Freelancer is selected by the Buyer, the Freelancer receives payment from the Buyer when the work is completed.
